Welcome to the STEM Mum blog!
This blog is designed to introduce STEM concepts for preschool aged children. I broadly class this as children aged 0-5 years old, prior to them starting school. However, please note that all children develop differently and this age range may not be relevant for your situation.
This blog is a resource for parents who would like to learn more about STEM and don’t know where to start.
It will include both practical and theoretical ideas to inform you about how to introduce these ideas in your household.
I will endeavour to make these ideas approachable and relevant. There is no need to have any prior experience in these fields or to be an educator to preschoolers. You just need to have a willingness and curiosity in this area.
