DIY Dice Bingo. ⁣ ⁣ This is a super simple gam DIY Dice Bingo. ⁣
⁣
This is a super simple game that has been quite a hit here over the past few days. ⁣
⁣
Create your game sheets by drawing a grid and filling in each square with a number from 1-6. We represented this by drawing the dots of a dice. We also rolled a dice to pick the number to put in the grid. Continue to create as many sheets as you need so that each player has their own. ⁣
⁣
Once you have your sheets you are ready to start. Roll a dice and place a counter/marker/toy over the square to cover that position if it matches. Only cover 1 instance of that number per roll. The first person to cover all of their board, shouts out BINGO and is the winner!⁣
⁣
Best thing we learnt... creating the game sheets takes just as much time as playing and generates lots of anticipation. A great way to get a bit more out of this activity!⁣

Inspired by nature.⁣ ⁣ We have been mesmerised Inspired by nature.⁣
⁣
We have been mesmerised by catching water on leaves. Their hydrophobic surface repels water and creates amazing droplets that have really captivated our play. ⁣
⁣
From spinning the leaves to see when the droplets will fall off, to transferring droplets from person to person as well as seeing how big a droplet can get. It is a nature play activity with a big tick in my book!⁣
⁣

⁣
Did you know this is trying to be recreated in the construction industry? A coating is applied to windows so that water will bead on the surface when it rains. One application of this is for tall skyscrapers to keep the windows clean. ⁣
